St. Johns County Equestrian Center Marquis Halback, Inc developed the Master Plan for this 28-acre Equestrian Training Facility that accommodates four full-size training and competition rings. This unique facility, which has the ability to serve as a community evacuation center for large hooved animals, also includes stables, a community center building, and a playground and picnic area. MHI served as the prime consultant on this project as part of a continuing contract for parks and recreation. Coordination with user groups, such as the St. Johns County Horse Council, and the development of the overall theme and concept were part of MHI’s responsibility in the development of the overall Master Plan and the coordination of engineering and architectural elements.
