Heritage Tourism Signage
In 2000, as a principal for Herbert-Halback, Inc., Fred Halback and his team created a conceptual signage master plan to orient visitors to downtown St. Augustine. Marquis Halback, Inc. has explored additional designs of the Heritage Signage Program to act a critical link in the organization of the visitor’s experience.
The vehicular signage transforms various entrance corridors, directing traffic to the new Historic Downtown Parking Facilty. Pedestrian-scaled signage further orients visitors following their arrival to the facilty, pointing out important landmarks and destinations in the Nation’s Oldest City.
