Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Marquis Halback, Inc. was invited to participate in the design of a new outdoor performing venue in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The team created a vision for a new amphitheatre that reconnects the historic downtown with the new Riverwalk. Using the backdrop of the Black Warrior River and one of the nation’s longest wooden tressel railroad bridges, the amphitheatre provides intimate seating for 8,000 in both fixed and grass seating. This flexibility allows for a variety of performances ranging from dance and theatre to pep rallies for the nearby campus of the University of Alabama. |
