Alternate 6 - Limited Parking & Shared Use Path

Similar to Alternate 5, this concept largely keeps the roadway curb lines intact, instead opting for simple resurfacing and restriping. However, this concept does explore reducing on-street parking along the corridor, which does the following:
• Allows for improved visibility for vehicles and pedestrians crossing Avenida Menendez.
Improves traffic flow by eliminating breaking / slowing for cars parking along the bayfront.
Views of the bayfront are improved. A line of vehicles would no longer block this water view.
