Transforming a Forgotten Property

Located along the main western entry to St. Augustine, this unique parcel was formerly part of the Florida East Coast Railroad facilities that brought visitors to the historic coast during the Gilded Age and Flagler Era. However, for many decades since, this property has sat vacant, with the City of St. Augustine and private developers exploring opportunities to bring vitality back to this waterfront property.

Our Solution

Since 2020, ML+H has guided the development of a mixed-use, planned unit development that knits a high-end resort, multi-family, and neighborhood retail within the entrance of St. Augustine. The property is envisioned as a place to once again welcome visitors to the City as well as providing places to reinforce the neighborhood with new housing, a European-style marketplace, and a waterfront marina.
